What to Expect at Your First Appointment at Louloùdi Esthetics
If you've never been to Louloùdi Esthetics before, or maybe never even had a facial before, it's completely normal to feel a little apprehension about the process. Walking into a new space and meeting someone new almost always comes with a little unease. I'm here to let you know what to expect so you can feel comfortable from the very first moment.
Before You Arrive
When you book, you'll receive a short intake form asking about your skin history, current routine, any medications, and what's been on your mind about your skin lately. Please fill it out honestly, even the parts that feel embarrassing or complicated. The more I know going in, the more I can tailor the treatment specifically to you.
A few things to keep in mind before your appointment: arrive with a clean face if you can, and avoid using any new actives or exfoliants in the 48 hours prior. That's really it.
Walking Into the Studio
Louloùdi is a private, one-on-one studio. There's no front desk, no waiting room full of strangers, no background noise. Just a calm, quiet space designed to feel like a retreat the moment you step in. You'll find warm lighting, soft textures, and a curated collection of the skincare lines I actually use myself and believe in.
We'll take a few minutes to sit and go over your intake form, and just talk. This isn't a formality. It's genuinely how I figure out what your skin needs that day and how much you already know about your own skin. No two clients get the exact same treatment, even if they booked the same service.
The Treatment Itself
I'll give you privacy to change and get settled on the heated bed. It's genuinely one of the coziest places you'll ever lie down. From there, we start with a thorough cleanse before I do a hands-on skin analysis under magnification. This tells me so much more than a form can: how your barrier is holding up, whether there's congestion or sensitivity, where we should focus and where we should be gentle.
From there, I'll move through your treatment in a structured sequence, treating and supporting your skin at each step. I work with Korean clinical skincare brands and professional-grade ingredients, which means every product I choose is deliberate. Each one is selected specifically for your skin at that moment.
Most appointments run 60 minutes (unless you booked a 90-minute facial). You won't feel rushed. I'll talk you through what I'm doing as we go, or if you'd rather just close your eyes and relax, that's perfectly fine too. This is your time.
What About Products?
You'll notice skincare on the shelves — brands like KrX, Corthe, and Le Mieux. I will never pressure you to buy anything. If I think something would genuinely benefit your skin, I'll tell you why in plain terms and let you decide. If your current routine is working, I'll say that too.
What I do focus on at the end of every appointment is making sure you leave with a clear picture of what your skin is doing, what we worked on today, and what you can do going forward for healthier skin. That kind of continuity is part of what makes corrective skincare actually work over time.
After Your Appointment
You'll leave with verbal aftercare instructions, and I'll follow up with written guidance (usually that night), because let's be honest, sometimes it's a lot of information to remember! I'm also reachable by phone or email if anything comes up in the days after: questions, unexpected reactions, or just wanting to know if something is normal.
Most clients notice their skin looking different within 24–48 hours — calmer, clearer, or simply more like itself. Corrective work is cumulative, so a series of treatments will always outperform a single session, but even a first visit tends to be a meaningful reset.
